Factorem is a Southeast Asia’s one-stop shop for custom manufacturing - all through an easy-to-use, smart cloud platform. We do as few as 1 pc, and can scale up to thousands for volume production. If you want to upload files on our platform, here’s the ideal file formats that we accept:
Preferred 3D Formats: Universal CAD formats such as
We prefer that you don’t upload software specific 3D files such as SolidWorks or Autocad. This is because Factorem works with a range of screened manufacturing partners and many of them only work with tools that can open universal CAD formats. Converting files may lead to some features being lost.

For any other manufacturing vertical that doesn’t fall into one of these categories, we prefer that you upload both 3D Files (in a universal format) as well as a well-drafted technical drawing. You may put other information in the “Notes” section within the upload process.
